My take on the challenge uses a very old stamp from Gina K Designs. Card base is SU Bashful Blue, plaid patterned paper is from my stash, as well as the ribbon. Nestabilities dies used with SU Very Vanilla CS. Image colored with Prismacolor pencils & Gamsol.

More Cards for Judye !!!

Here is the remainder of the cards I've been making for my Sis!

This card uses more Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, this time "Never Give Up".

Here's one using the Flourishes Floral Alphabet set, and a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Here I've used ODBD stamps again, this time using "Stone Fish" and their fish embossing plate. Some hemp twine from my stash finished it off. Hope you enjoyed!! Hugs, Ree

Bookmark This!!!

My sister Judye and her husband Roger are in a prayer group. I decided I wanted to make bookmarks for them all. Since the group is all couples, I knew I wanted to make some of them more "masculine" themed. Here's what I came up with...

Unfortunately, you can just bearly see on one of these, but there are charms at the end of a ribbon on each!

These were all made using stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs, and using SU Kraft cardstock. Ribbons were all various, from my stash. Hope you enjoy! Hugs, Ree

Long Time, No Blog!!

Hello to anyone stopping by!
Just want to let you know I am going to get back to blogging...

So, here is a pic of me & my husband on our recent trip to Vegas. This is when we sent on a motorcycle trip to Death Valley National Park. We rented Harleys for 2 days while out there. Gorgeous... and HOT in D.V.!! Amazing beauty though.
Also while there I visited the AMAZING Viva LasVegasStamps store. WOW, is all I can say... got a few cute images, but didn't spend nearly enough time there... :o(

I'm trying to organize a card campaign for Matt Brown, a 16 y/o hockey player from Norwood, MA.


Matt was paralyzed in a freak accident on the ice on January 23, 2010.



After many weeks of rehab at the Shepard Center in Atlanta, GA, Matt is now home and working hard to get well.

Congratulations, Chris!!!

Yesterday, my baby boy graduated high school! It was an emotional day for me, since Chris is the baby of the family!! I love seeing all his friends grown up into beautiful young men & women, closing one chapter and beginning a new one! God bless them all...

Remembering Sammy

Sadly, we had to say good-bye to our 14 year old Chocolate Lab, Sammy. We knew we were going to have to make the heart-wrenching decision to put him down, for his own sake. And we finally had to do it.

Rest in peace, my precious boy. We loved having you as our sweet dog... you were a part of our lives for so long, it's hard remembering life before you came to us. We'll see you again when the time is right. Good-bye, boy.... we'll love you forever.

Jettin' off to Virginia!

I'm off to go visit my Mom in Virginia, for 2 and a half weeks!!! My sister & her husband are going on vaca, and I'm gonna be there with Mom to take care of her. I'll still be "here" though!

My Nestabilities Storage Solution

Hey all, I thought I would share with you my storage solution for my Nesties. This works for me, and I'm happy with it.

Went to Staples Yesterday and got this Memorex CD File container. It's really nice; it's fabric covered, with a hinged top. This works like a mini file drawer, and the CD sleeves are like mini hanging file-folders! They're actually cute!

I cut a square of magnetic sheeting for each set to stay put within the pocket. It seems to be working great!

ETA: Some have asked where to get magnetic sheets. I've gotten them at both Staples and Michaels. If u can't find them just ask a store clerk, and they'll show you!

Remembering Your Mom

Hi Everyone!

I have a card here today that I created last night especially for our friends Lenny & Paula. Paula lost her Mom a few months ago, and Lenny just lost his Mom 2 weeks ago.
I am very happy with the way this came out!



I have been using these same Making Memories papers & ribbon for my last couple of cards... hope you aren't getting bored! :o)
